| Guidance for Child Care Programs that Remain Open: These additional considerations are intended to provide guidance for a range of child care programs that remain open, including: Family child care programs, also known as home-based child care; Pre-K (Pre-kindergarten) programs at private and public schools; Head Start and Early Head Start programs; Private child care centers; Temporary child care centers operated by municipalities for the children of essential service providers, such as first responders, healthcare workers, transit workers, and other industries where a parent cannot stay home; and Child care centers that partner with healthcare facilities to support healthcare workers who need child care. | Adams County CCAP Memo: Due to COVID-19 Adams County CCAP has received direction and approval from CCCAP and Adams County Administration to allow additional absences to be paid out from Adams County. To ease the financial hardship and uncertainty that our providers and families are currently facing we want to continue to be supportive. Adams County will pay out up to 17 absences for the month of March 2020, up to 22 absences for April 2020 and up to 22 absences for May 2020. Manual Claims will not need to be submitted to Adams County for payment issuance for these absences, as the system will pay out automatically through ATS CCCAP weekly payments. However, please remember it is extremely important to reconcile payment to payment summaries and notify the county in a timely manner if payment is not correct. Adams County manual claims can be emailed to [email protected]. We greatly appreciated your patience during this difficult time. Press Release // Emergency Child Care Extended to All Essential Workers in Colorado: Today the Collaborative announced that, beginning immediately, the state will extend a full tuition credit to all essential workers identified in Updated Public Health Order 20-24 issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. This 100% tuition credit will provide child care to all essential workers until May 17. The list of essential workers who will be covered by this care, as outlined in the order, includes:
