Angel Relief Fund for Restaurant and Hospitality Workers: Angel Relief Fund grants through the Colorado Restaurant Association are focused on restaurant and food and beverage service hospitality workers who are diagnosed with coronavirus, have been quarantined under doctor’s care, are unable to receive government assistance, and have been out of work for more than a month.
Bartender Emergency Assistance Program: Grant money is available through the United States Bartenders Guild to bartenders who are experiencing a catastrophic event or emergency hardship.

Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative: Has COVID-19 impacted your employment? Are you thinking of starting or continuing college? The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) funded six colleges across the state to support workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and provide participants support in accessing and completing their credential or degree. Reach out to the program contact at the college you are interested in attending for information and program requirements.

Unemployment Insurance Benefits: If you are not working or are working fewer hours as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may file an unemployment claim at coloradoui.gov. If your last name begins with the letter A - M, file a claim on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, or after noon on Saturday. If your last name begins with the letter N - Z, file a claim on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or before noon on Saturday.
U.S. Department of Labor: On March 18, 2020, President Trump signed into law the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which provided additional flexibility for state unemployment insurance agencies and additional administrative funding to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law on March 27. It expands states’ ability to provide unemployment insurance for many workers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including for workers who are not ordinarily eligible for unemployment benefits.
